Service Experts Family Giving One Lucky Family a Furnace

February 22, 2016

We are well past Christmas but BW/Cook Service Experts is continuing the season of giving into February. The HVAC, air quality, and plumbing company who services the areas around Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky household a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We wanted to help a family stay safe and warm during the heating season,” said Mick Hoeflinger, the General Manager of BW/Cook Service Experts. “We were elated to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to provide a new furnace to a family in our local area.”

The winning family will get an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the business’s premier names in heating and air conditioning equipment. The furnace is valued at approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the new owners money over the years through lower utility bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s NATE-certified technicians, who are mastered in installing a wide variety of makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment, will install the unit and walk the winners through the best operating techniques.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always thrilled to be involved with the local community. Right now they are sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box Skating Rink, a local ice skating rink in South Bend. They are also going to sponsor multiple local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team of Elkhart.

“We have been involved in our community for over 100 years. We truly care about the comfort of our customers, and it means a lot to us to bring a little extra comfort to a family who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t the first time the Service Experts family has stepped in on behalf of community members with needs. Four years ago, Service Experts upgraded the HVAC system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and, because of his damaged immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was critical to protecting his health. In 2014, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new heating and cooling system, with installation, to a widowed immigrant mother of two boys. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new HVAC system to a family who lost everything in a house fire.

To register for the furnace giveaway though February 26th, watch ABC-57 weekdays at 6:00 p.m. and watch for the code word. Then, log on and enter the code word at ABC-57.com. You can enter once a day using that day’s code word.

Keep warm and be informed with BW/Cook Service Experts, Lennox, and ABC-57.
