"Initial sale and installation of HVAC very questionable. Neighbor with same sized home, AC sitting next to ours told he was over sizing- we were later told we had under sized. Both installed same month. We just had a thousand dollars of labor done for warranted parts. Theyve had nothing fail. We bought the air purifier, it failed and then we learned its parts were obsolete and no longer available. We added the whole house humidifier, took the local shop at least three trips to install and get it to run properly. Have been on the monthly preferred customer plan, been told more than oncewith your warranty running out I believe it has another twelve months left. I think you should have reps from both the Service Exp. Home office and the Lennox manufacturer look at our equipment. It is almost laughable that identical equipment next door has not failed the way ours has. Not surprisingly that one of us was told the ac was under sized and the other told it was over sized. I have figured out that the current local mgmnt team is fairly new and cleaning up for the sins of the prior people, but I still have that equipment."

"The service is very technician dependent. The technician that serviced my A/C was professional and was able to complete the job in an efficient manner. I am also a bit wary about the advice on equipment condition and next steps to take. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and their relationship to me as a customer. They were difficult to discuss issues with and could not answer questions related to the service agreement costs. I was told they would pass along my questions to someone who would get back to me and I never heard anything further. It just seems like the service has deteriorated over the past 7 years I have used the firm."

"On or about May 27, 2022, Service Experts came out because our LG mini split wasn't working. We were told that it couldn't be repaired, to test for a leak would cost $750. The only option was to replace the unit and the two heads for $16,000.00. We got another opinion. No coolant. Refilled for $240.00. Has worked fine ever since. The second company ran the pressure set for free. Shame on Service Experts! This was the mini split that you serviced on August 23,2021. Thank goodness we didn't fall for your fraud or incompetence."

Areas for improvement include better schedule coordination between trades so that a 1-day job doesn't turn into 5 days. After the technician left, I looked at Amazon for the same part that sells for $18.00. he also told me it was a 5 year warranty but the lady on the phone at the office said it is only 1 year. In additon, he looked at my furnace which had just been tuned up and checked by Service Experts three weeks earlier and told me i need several parts and labor whhich was over $1000.00. I have worked with Climate masters for 20 years and I feel this technician was trying to rip me off and succeeded on the capacitor"

"To be clear I had two back-to-back services. I'm unhappy about the FIRST service: a routine A/C checkup/maintenance on 3/24 (ticket 111410). I woke up the morning of 3/25 with a burning smell and no heat and discovered that the can capacitor to the blower was left disconnected. I called and within two hours two other technicians (ticket 0111594) came, hooked it back up, and told me no damage was done. Still the burning smell has been horrible and I don't know if I believe that components weren't prematurely aged. Having been ripped off by multiple HVAC companies (fake carbon monoxide readings, etc.), I'm finding it hard to believe that neither of the first two technicians noticed that capacitor was not reconnected, and I'm also wondering if had I NOT called out the issue, perhaps I would have been sold something unnecessary."

I consulted with a different company and they said my furnace was working just fine. Service Experts claimed there was a broken valve that could not be replaced. Other company said the valve worked fine for now, but may need to be replaced soon. They also informed me hat they could easily order a replacement part that service experts claimed was not replaceable. To top it all off, Service experts gave me a quote to replace my furnace for over double the price provided by the other company. Complete and total ripoff by Service Experts. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You prey on people who are without a reliable way to heat their homes."

"I was on travel when the repair appointment was made. The service person tried to upsell my wife a new furnace, saying ours was 10 years old (the Lennox high efficiency furnaces last 15-20 years). And this, after we had already scheduled and paid for the $800 repair. If the furnace really needed replacing (which it did not) the time to have mentioned that was during the previous visit when the current problem was diagnosed and the repair was ordered. During the regular furnace checkup in Fall 2021, I specifically asked the tech if the inducer motor was okay because during the 2020 checkup, the tech had mentioned it was showing signs of wear and to keep an eye on it. The tech during the most recent 2021 visit seemed in a hurry and said dismissively that it was fine. The inducer motor started to fail the beginning of this year, necessitating the most recent repair. I am seriously considering switching companies. More minor concerns: the repair person used an old inoperative phone number to try calling ahead that they were coming. This, despite the fact that I had updated the number after our last visit and the appointment has been confirmed by the scheduler using the correct number."

"Horrible experience... technician thought he turned off water to fix pipe, he did not, and water went everywhere. I had to tell him where the water valve was. Once he completed the service he turned the water back on and accidentally turned in the sprinkler system. We did not notice until the next day when it warned up and the sprinkle came on. He did come back and blow out the sprinklers again, but service experts will not take responsibility for the technicians incompetence. What should have been a 150 dollar/ ten min repair is now going to cost me more money in legal fees."

Normally techs voluntarily put on booties when entering to protect carpets, but I had to ask John to do this. Both my furnace and humidifier were turned way up to test (totally fine) but were not turned back down to where they were, so when I got home later in the day my house felt like a steam room. I've already been weighing the benefits of the yearly maintenance contract and will likely not renew - not just because of this visit."

"Our technician was awesome and very knowledgeable, but I felt he tried to upset us at every turn. He offered to replace our humidifier filter for $93 for a $12 filter and 5 minutes of labor. We will do it ourself. He didn't offer to replace the filter in our furnace until I asked him if it wasn't part of the service agreement, so then he did. He also said we should think about replacing our water heater. He is possibly correct, but it added to the feeling of being uphold."

When my renter got home that night there was a service code 207 on his thermostat, I called to get a repairman to check it out and according to him the techs did not reset something and it would have been obvious had they checked the thermostat before they finished."

Our AC went out Tuesday we had a tech from your team assess the AC and was told we needed over $2,100 to get the AC going again, let alone secondary components that were supposedly going out as well that was roughly another $4,000+ to fix. I was then presented an AC and Furnace replacement of roughly $14,000!!! I immediately was red flagged and had another AC group come out and assess and only component I needed was the capacitor..... Which was $350. Much less and honestly I'm blown away at what my wife and I experienced. This other team made sure to try there best to get the AC going as we have a baby in this high heat... We basically threw our $200 service fee away to have nothing fixed super upset."

I called another independent HVAC repairmen who coincidentally used to work for you who came out and fixed the unit with no new parts needed for $300.00. Thankfully the tech gave me maintenance plan pricing. 5) Paid $400+ and calling and having no one know what was going on... 6) having a tech call and not have any idea what is going on. 7) thankfully we asked the tech that came on Monday to write us a receipt so we could explain what was going on and what we had already paid for! 8) Being told Tuesday we were the highest priority then calling Wednesday and being told the call was on 'hold' because the line was frozen when we called Tuesday afternoon and had said it was thawed. 9) Basically, the worst customer service! I have bought a new HVAC system from you as well as TWO water heaters. You will not get my business again!"
